Mapping list

Well i know the huge downlaod list from Ice did apply to most of the maps we have. But we seem to be under new management for the hosting of the server. So the maps dont exactly work (all of them at least.) If someone could pls leave a LIST of maps that work on the server i would greatly apprciate it. (can eb a List, doesnt need to be a LINK after LINK)

lol all those maps on the old list werent on the server either.

besides we dont need too many maps

Also Mr.C i have a some what seems stupid request thast take alot of time and effort and in the end might not even be worth it. Can we have a mod on a different map other than bespin. Such as the OKDeathStar or maybe OK yavin?

If he has time, or we could get more than one person, idk, we should mod EVERY default map.

Not EVERY default map. The CTF maps can stay the way they r. and so can duels. i was aiming at more like the FFA maps would be modded it. I would be happy to do otehr if i recieved a program or instuctions guide on how 2 do it.

i mean when were not on bespin, which will probably end up being all the time, we will be on our clan map.

why edit other maps when we could be editing bespin

I was talking about only FFA maps. I forgot to specify that.

And Dral, our clan map made my McMonkey. We have what maybe 10 members? And he keeps taking away rooms from people, but it's still huge. I'm not complaining, it isn't a big deal, but what exactly is it then?

I dunno about editing other maps, lets keep it simple and make Bespin better for now, I cannot go editing 2 maps at once, ya know?

As for the clan map, I'm usually too lazy to download clan maps, I wonder if people will download ours...?

I hope to make a solid 3.0 or possibly a 4.0 of Bespin, bug-free, before working on other maps, it's an idea for the future, that I look forward to.

Whos rooms is he taking away? and also, other than times at bespin can get boring every now and again to those who r on alot. So still i say why not more? i mean and OK death Star sounds preety cool.

Well he's said that he took mine and somebody else's away but whatever. It's just a room that'll mean nothing after a month or something..

I guess... still i say if we have like way to many rooms then it becomes to large and well teems odd. If we had like a dourmintory with tons of beds in 1 room like u see in collages or like summer camps. like the lvl 1 bed room area and lvl 2 and lvl 3
while the higher lvls such as Tanis Dral get exact rooms such as an office/ bed/ bath /ect. WOuld seem to make more since.

Yea but seeing as people can rank up it will conflict with the map and would force it to need to be updated constantly. Seperate rooms are kinda lame.

A large place to hang out and some places to have fun is all I really need. We won't sleep there or anything..

Yeah but for RPG times or other things you never know what u mihgt want. Not that we do that or anyhting...

RPG: From what I've heard, (and seen, from multiple sources) RP is no longer wanted in Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast, people just don't want to bother with it.

I have experience, I have tried to start a RP with my mapping skills on JediCouncilGC, the project failed, 1 1/2 months, no one ever even connected. Serious.

To Lighten Things Up : Hey, if you're up for it, go for it. Here's my advice as follows though: Don't label rooms for people, just in case, we need that map to always be ready for anyone, promotion and change happen all the time. Hey, lets let everyone enjoy the ride the same way.

I agree. If you have to label rooms label Dral's and the other leaders.

I'd say have many rooms all eerily similar and some challenges, a bar, and FFA and Dueling places.

Thats what i was saying wasn't I...
all the higher lvls (Dral / Water / Tanis maybe) should have the stuff like that since they aint quiting any time soon....
BUt i was thinking that the lower levels should get SOMETHING at least.. maybe not label them but a center or something...
and the bar dueling area and maybe some places like rock climbing or racing area... fun areas really

Yea not a large scale as exploration. Just kinda a memorial for OK. Rooms signed for higher admins, and permanent members maybe.. Like, the first ten members, or the best, or something would be nice.

Fun areas to keep people busy. Rock climbing etc.

Griffinclaw did. at least the one that everyoen uses.

So now we know who made JediCouncilGC, great. back to the topic, should we try modding other default maps or just wait 4 OK Clan map?

Mod other maps. I seriously doubt the capacity of greatness that map will have

It's more fun to see old maps destroyed than new maps made.
